This is me, Violet Bing, talking to the one who wrote and drew me:
V.Bing: All in all, I think you did a pretty good job writing my story but what I was wondering was- wouldn't it have been
better if I'd had less problems?
JP: I don't make the news, I just report it.
V.Bing: I don't really know what that means.
JP: In other words, that is how I found you - with those problems. Besides, problems are just made by how you're
thinking.
V.Bing: How was I thinking?
JP: Too much "No", not enough "Yes".
V.Bing: But couldn't you have just made it so I said more "Yes"?
JP: Good question - but overall I think it's best to make up the Truth, and I try to stick to that as much as possible.
V.Bing: Okay. I think I'll have to think about that more.
JP: Yes, me too.
V.Bing: In my story, there is a dog and he becomes a GREAT and IMPORTANT friend to me. Don't you think it would
have been better if he talked?
JP: Well, I think if you're going to write what someone says, you'd better know what they'd say. I only knew what he thought
and felt - I didn't know which part of that he would actually choose to SAY. And so, there was my bind. It's okay though,
for me it's enough to know that he could talk if he wanted to.
note to reader: I will tell you more of my conversation with the author once I have it. Bye for now.
Yours with Beads,
V.Bing
